A CRYING CHILD IS EATEN BY A HYENA
August 27, 2023I asked myself this question when I first heard about gender. Maybe you were wondering that too.
The truth: it had to do with my convenience.
Only when I started to deal with it and, among other things, completed Sigi Lieb’s course on LinkedIn entitled “Simply gendern: gender-sensitive language in corporate practice” did I learn at least 3 things:
- I can’t refuse something until I really deal with it
- I can consciously address the root cause, my rejection, in this case, among other things, fear of a lot of work
- Solutions and background information that make it easier for me to deal with it, like Sigi’s works, already exist. So I ask myself: is my fear justified?
The same applies to all aspects of diversity sensitivity.
What an honor to see Sigi Lieb, author of “ALLE(S) GENDER” live recently and “make my area unsafe” with her.
The conversations about our books and about our background and motivation touched me very much. They still have an effect.
Sigi is extremely engaging, really listens, knows a lot, and loves to share her knowledge.
I can highly recommend your book, which you can see in the photo here, whether the issue of gender is already a matter of course for you or not (more on that in Sept.).
Sigi’s #book makes it easy to deal with this topic.
Her book was even nominated for Knowledge Book of the Year 2023 in the explosive category. are you going to vote for her today?
Thank you dear Sigi Lieb for your valuable time, for your enormous knowledge and for the deep discussions. I enjoyed every second and had a lot of fun with you.
Your curiosity makes it possible for us to learn from each other and respect different points of view, knowing that we don’t have to agree to accept each other.
This is how we build bridges instead of walls.
Dear community: with this post I am unsubscribing. I’ll be on vacation from this afternoon and I’m sure we’ll see each other again soon.
It’s time for my family and I to fund another emotional bank account – visiting Kenya.
Don’t forget to vote for Sigi’s book. Relevant links are below. thank you for that
